Sonic Rush is the Hog's first outing on the DS, and it brings him back to his roots, glorious 2D. Compared to the recent 3D Sonic stinkers, this game truley shows that he isn't dead yet. With the return of the second dimension comes the return of Sonic's speed, this game being one of the fastest the series has seen. The game tells the story of two universes coliding, bringing another hero in the form of Blaze, and likewise, another vilain - Eggman Nega. The story revolves around Blazes's quest to regain the "Sol Emelrads" (that's a Sonic series first....). The story, while okay, is nothing special, along with being incledibly corny. Overall this is still one of the best Sonic games we have seen in a long time, and it shows just where he belongs.
