Here we have Sega's first venture into the next generation of consoles. In this new title Sega promised that Sonic would return to his former glory. The goal was achieved, well, sort of. The game retains much of what made the original so great, but it is riddled with various flaws that make it difficult to completely enjoy. That is the nice way to put, since I am kind of a Sonic fanboy, at least enough of one to make a Sonic website. Sega tried so hard to make the Hog cool again for his 15th birthday, but ended up makeing one of the worse Sonic games we have seen. That's still putting it nicely.
