And finally he returns! 2/10/07

Well, I'm finally back from my little cruise. As many of you might have guessed by looking at the dates, I have been back for a good while and just have been to lazy to update, but please! Here me out! I just had no time, no time at all in this monstrous and cruel world! In between making up what I had to do from when I was gone and the many projects I have to work on now, it was really hard to find any time to do the update. To make it easier to shrug off was one of my program's trials ending right as I got back. Now being the smart guy I am, of course I was able to find a work around, but that would take time I have not had until now. Unfortunately I have finals the week from next, so I am expecting next week to be a harsh one. On the flip side though, since finals are on Monday and Tuesday, we have no classes on Wednesday thru Friday, giving me plenty of time to relax and add a few things. During my lapse I have seen several little bits of Sonic related news I would love to share with you guys, so look out for those articles in a little bit. In the mean time, click the read more to hear all about my trip.

So how was my trip? It was insanely awesome, to the point were I was almost in tears when I had to leave what had become my home for 7 days. The ship (the Disney Magic) went to St. Martin, the land of the ten dollar Rolex (no joke) and a jewelry shop on every corner, St. Thomas were I didn't even get off, and their private island, Castaway Cay. St. Martin was definitely the place for shopping, with some of the cheapest goods you will ever find, including the previously mentioned Rolex. I kinda have a funny feeling it was fake, but hey, it was a watch for ten bucks and said Rolex on it, I'm not gonna argue. (by "funny feeling it was fake" I mean "no way in hell it's not fake" if ya couldn't figure it out) You could also get five shirts for about seven bucks at several places. One little electronics shop had Wii Nunchucks.......going for twice what you'd pay for them here, so not everything was a bargain. Castaway Cay was actually where parts of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 was shot, and is the current home of the real Flying Dutchman used in the movie. Aside from that and my parasailing being canceled, not much happened on that little island. No, it was the days at sea that I found the best.

Their was SO much to do, some of the best comedians I have ever seen, activities galore, an awesome teen-club, complete with about ten hi-def TVs connected to a Gamecube and a PS2. I still have Iron Man stuck in my head after all the Guitar Hero I played. All that, yet I still have not mentioned one of the best parts - the food. Their was food everywhere, desert buffets at night, free pizza, chicken fingers, tacos, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and hotdogs anytime you want, and as much as you want. The three main sit-down restaurants served some of the best food I have ever eaten. It truly was an amazing experience.

As you can see, I had a great time, and I hope you all are insanely jealous. Yup. You heard me. Jealous. -S2Hedgehog
